Marketing Intern – Digital Growth & Brand Strategy (Hybrid – Vancouver)
Company Overview
Pearl West is a portfolio of high-growth consumer brands built for performance and scale. We own and operate multiple eCommerce-first businesses across wellness, supplements, skincare, and lifestyle—with over $40M+ in annual run-rate revenue. Our brands sell across Amazon, TikTok Shops, and Shopify, scaling rapidly using a centralized, operator-led model.
We’re not just a marketing company. We build, scale, and exit brands like startups—with the capital and playbooks of private equity. Our culture is fast-paced, flat, and focused on execution. If you’re eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact, this is the place for you.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Marketing Intern ready to dive into hands-on digital marketing and brand growth. You’ll collaborate closely with growth, creative, and marketplace teams to learn how 7–8 figure CPG brands scale—from content testing and influencer outreach to full-funnel optimization.
This hybrid internship requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Vancouver HQ, where you’ll be surrounded by top performers and gain exposure to fast-moving eCommerce environments on Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify.
You won’t be running errands or watching from the sidelines — you’ll contribute directly to digital campaigns, content ideation, product launches, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with digital campaigns across Amazon, TikTok Shops, Shopify, and other marketing channels including social media, email, SMS, and content marketing as needed.
- Support copywriting projects and scriptwriting for marketing content.
- Source ideas, spot trends, and organize creative assets to support content development.
- Help coordinate influencer and user-generated content (UGC) outreach and asset collection.
- Conduct competitive and market research to inform new product launches and campaigns.
- Participate in growth team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and post-launch performance reviews.
- Collaborate with creative and media teams to QA assets and campaigns.
- Learn and contribute using tools like Airtable, Google Sheets, and Slack to support campaign execution.
Note: This role will involve varied tasks that may shift monthly depending on business needs, so flexibility is essential.
What You’ll Learn
- How high-growth consumer brands scale in real time.
- What makes content convert across TikTok, Amazon, and landing pages.
- The foundations of paid media, funnel strategy, and influencer marketing.
- How to think like a growth operator—not just a marketer.
- How fast-moving teams collaborate to launch, test, and scale products.
