Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support core financial operations across multiple online sales platforms and company entities. This full-time, remote role requires strong technical skills in accounting, data handling, and Excel — as well as a proactive approach to process optimization. You’ll manage everything from reconciliations and reporting to audits and ERP use, helping us maintain clean, compliant, and insightful financial data across borders.

Key Responsibilities

Record Company Payments and Transactions - Track operations expenses and company credit card spending, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation.
Manage Sales Transaction Records - Log and verify sales and sales-related activities across multiple eCommerce platforms.
Support Financial Reporting - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with relevant standards.
Perform Account Reconciliations - Regularly reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
Develop and Maintain Internal Controls - Contribute to the implementation and improvement of accounting policies and controls.
Analyze and Report on Financial Data - Interpret financial data and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Work with Large Excel Datasets - Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of data using advanced Excel tools and formulas.
Support Internal and External Audits - Provide supporting documentation and respond to audit-related inquiries.
Stay Current with Accounting Standards - Remain up-to-date with evolving regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
Collaborate Across Time Zones - Work effectively with remote teams based in various countries and time zones.
Improve Processes and Efficiency - Identify and implement improvements in finance operations and workflows.
Assist with Ad-Hoc Tasks and Projects - Jump in where needed to support finance team objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• ~5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, analysis tools)
• Proven experience analyzing large datasets
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, ideally within retail/eCommerce contexts
• High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment
• Must maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST); however, we strongly prefer candidates who can work the full 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST schedule to ensure better real-time collaboration with the team.


Highly Desired:
• Experience with finance or ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Online (please specify in your application)
• Interest and ability to improve financial processes and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting
• Background in retail or eCommerce finance
• CPA, ACCA, or other relevant professional accounting certification (or progress toward one)
