Role Overview

We are seeking a Discord Community Manager to lead and manage our creator-focused Discord community. This role will involve engaging with content creators, moderating discussions, providing support, and ensuring the community thrives as a valuable resource.

The ideal candidate is highly communicative, organized, and passionate about building relationships with creators. They should be familiar with Discord community management, content creation trends, and fostering online engagement.

This is a full-time, remote/hybrid/in-office position with opportunities to work closely with content creators and marketing teams to grow the community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Content Creators – Actively respond to messages, foster discussions, and maintain a positive environment in the Discord community.
  • Share Inspirational & Educational Content – Regularly post motivational videos, industry news, and valuable resources to keep creators inspired.
  • Approve & Onboard New Creators – Review applications, approve qualified creators, and grant them access to private channels.
  • Invite New Members to the Community – Proactively reach out to content creators and influencers to expand the community.
  • Answer Questions & Provide Support – Address community inquiries, offer guidance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure an excellent member experience.
  • Maintain Community Guidelines & Moderation – Enforce community rules, ensure respectful discussions, and take action against any violations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Partnerships – Work with the team to align community growth efforts with company goals and campaigns.
  • Track Engagement & Report Insights – Monitor Discord activity, analyze engagement trends, and provide regular updates on community health.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Community Growth – Increase the number of active members by 25% per quarter.
  • Engagement Rate – Ensure 80% of members participate in discussions and events weekly/monthly.
  • Response Time – Maintain an average response time of under 30 minutes for community questions.
  • Creator Approval & Onboarding – Successfully approves and onboard 250 new creators per month.
  • Content Sharing & Inspiration – Post 30 high-value content pieces per week to keep members engaged.


Success Benchmarks (30-60-90 Days)

First 30 Days

✅ Complete onboarding and gain a deep understanding of Pearl West’s Discord community structure, goals, and guidelines.
✅ Engage with current members and establish yourself as a trusted, responsive community leader.
✅ Invite at least X new content creators to join the community.

First 60 Days

✅ Implement a structured approval and onboarding process for new creators.
✅ Increase community engagement by X% through discussions, polls, and interactive content.
✅ Share regular inspirational and educational content that resonates with creators.

First 90 Days

✅ Successfully onboard X new creators per month into private channels.
✅ Launch community-driven events or discussions to further increase participation.
✅ Maintain consistent engagement levels and positive community sentiment.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong Communication & Relationship-Building Skills – Ability to engage and foster a supportive environment for content creators.
  • Experience Managing Discord Communities – Familiarity with server roles, moderation tools, bots, and best practices.
  • Content Curation & Sharing – Ability to source and share motivational, educational, and trend-based content to inspire creators.
  • Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution – Skilled at handling disputes, enforcing guidelines, and maintaining a respectful space.
  • Proactive Outreach & Community Growth – Experience in growing online communities and inviting new members.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with influencer marketing and working directly with content creators.
  • Familiarity with social media trends, video content, and brand collaborations.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) for content creation.
